Terms of Service
The ground rules for estimates, scheduling, parts and workmanship on every sliding door and window repair we perform.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are based on the condition observed at the visit. If hidden damage is found after a panel is removed, we stop and present a revised written price for your approval before continuing.
Scheduling and access
An adult must provide safe access to the door or window and clear the threshold area. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled at our discretion.
Parts and availability
Some rollers, guides, locks and stiles for older or discontinued frames must be special-ordered. Lead times are estimates provided by suppliers and are not guaranteed.
Workmanship guarantee
Our labor is guaranteed against defective workmanship. The guarantee does not cover new impact damage, forced entry, storm damage, corrosion of adjacent original components, settling of the structure, or work performed by others after our visit.
Glass and existing conditions
Aged aluminum frames, tempered glass units and brittle hardware can fail during normal service handling. We take reasonable care but are not responsible for failure of components already at end of life, disclosed before work begins where visible.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Special-order hardware may require a deposit.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
